The Pickelhaube was originally designed in 1842 by King Frederick William IV of Prussia, perhaps as a copy of similar helmets that were adopted at the same time by the Russian military.
Line Pickelhaube helmet has wide variety of plates in front. This type helmet was used extensively by Prussian infantry & later use of Pickelhaube spread over German Military.
The Pickelhaube is still part of the parade & ceremonial events across the world.
This German Pickelhaube Leather Helmet is made of hardened (boiled) leather, with a glossy-black finish and a metal spike at the crown, the helmet is in brass finish.
